Special thanks to :iconvorahk295: for this idea.

So, let me get this straight, Archie Sonic...

Amy Rose cannot get a role expansion without utter chaos happening and her two most competent female comrades are either shoved out of the way or leaves the team?

I'm just going to put it plainly here.

You guys... utterly suck.

This is just so ridiculous on your part. You mean to tell me a character who can actually fight and contribute alot to the team, and you actually hand her the #1 female Freedom Fighter role on a silver platter without even earning it might I add?

It's moments like these that make me wish Archie Comics lost their license to do Sonic stories.

They are so awful at it! Pure and simple.

And this is not a shot at Amy Rose. I actually like Amy Rose as a character and have nothing against her getting a role expansion. What I don't like is when the comic has decided to put her to the forefront at the expense of two beloved characters, and especially when it was done so contrived like too.

If this situation had been handled better, this would be not nearly as big of an issue I'm making it out to be. But no. Sally just decides to press the button without even considering the consequences, and Bunnie abruptly walks away from her critically injured husband, not even knowing he'll even be alive when, or should I say if she returns.

What a wonderful head writer and editor we have here, folks.

Instead of actually making a story where the pink hedgehog earns her spot, she is given it by means of default. :X

And you Ian fans wonder why we're up in arms about all this... :sarcasm:

I can't believe I haven't commented on this yet. LOL! This is pretty much what we have to deal with from Ian on a monthly basis. I can't fathom what kind of job security the man has.

What does Amy have to earn?

To become the #1 female Freedom Fighter?

Quite a bit.

Let's keep in mind she is only 11 mentally in-spite of being in a 17 year old body. Not only that, she's way too immature and too obsessed with Sonic.

So, she's gonna have to grow up some and actually show some leadership ability before she can rightfully earn that spot.

She has shown leadership ability several times before. She's the leader of any form of Team Rose. And Amy hasn't shown any immaturity at all lately.

Plus she's a game character, so she has higher priority over Sal or Bunnie.

Who was she leading at Team Rose? Cream and Big!

Oh yea, that's really showing you're a leader, lead a character who's dumb as a rock and your best friend who just acts cute mostly.

And yes, I get that last statement unfortunately. It's because SEGA demands Amy gets treated better than she deserves that we have this crap.

Well, she also lead Team Rose as Cream&Cheese and Blaze in Treasure Team Tango. She also lead Team Rose as Cream&Cheese and Vector in Free Riders. She also managed to get Shadow on her side during TTT.
